We made the big move from our home at Applegate Elementary School to the Crow Grange during the summer of 2024 to make room for classroom growth at the school. We enjoyed our first event in conjunction with the Crow Grange Chicken BBQ, with a community chicken-themed silk painting.
The Crow-Applegate-Lorane School District voted to move to a 4-day student week, M-Th eliminating the need for Early Release Arts or Half Day Arts. We are starting up the year with an in-class project at Crow High School. The Rural Art Center is providing art teacher Amber Carroll with imbedded professional development as artist Patricia Donahue joins class for 10 Tuesday afternoons. The art class is learning how to work with clay in a safe and productive environment, how to prepare greenware for firing, and how to load and fire the kiln.
