How to have a silent movie without trying…

The 2024 October Movie Night was all prepared. We had soups. We had popcorn. We had good coffee and tea. We had bread and butter. We had the DVD. We had water and chairs and the Lorane Grange was all set up.
But, in the movie room, someone had disconnected all the wires (and there are plenty) from the receiver, speakers, and amp. Our emergency team got to work trying to get it all set back up. Then the double emergency back up went in to work. And we got moving pictures. But silence.
Luckily, we had a very understanding audience who enjoyed the soups and bread and conversation and were able to postpone their viewing until November. So come back, the technical difficulties are dealt with, it is pie night, and we have sound.
November 9, 6PM, costumes encouraged. Bring a pie if you are inspired.
